Toronto

Our first activity this morning was being shown the "Laneways" by Anusha (on her bike) and Aiden, culminating with playing some ball games back at their garage.

The only thing I remembered about Toronto, from a very brief visit a few years ago, was the underground walkway.  This links twenty eight kilometres of shopping, various kinds of entertainment and other services.  We used a small portion of this on our way to the St Lawrence Market this morning.

The market is part covered, part outdoor and is made up of many types of stalls.  There was even a group of people in costume singing.

Later, Dave and I co it he'd to the Royal Ontario Museum, where I managed to get round about a tenth of the exhibits, including the wonderful crystal section, one of the many stars being a huge sample of wulfenite.
The day ended with ice creams at Ed's.
